Bias in the media
You are probably aware that most of what is shown in the media is heavily biased. Unfortunately many people believe everything they see on the news, without ever questioning it. News Hounds is a website that critically analyses news stories presented by Fox News in the USA (which is generally considered to be heavily right-wing biased and of very questionable quality) and reports any bias (read: bullshit) it finds. Each report usually sparks a debate and lots of interesting opinions get posted. I usually find it to be a great read, even though I’m not always familiar with all the characters or events described.
Today I came across a good article, called A Biased Report On Media Bias. In the Comments section, one person posted a link to this video which shows the ignorance of some people. Funny at first, but also very sad. Check it out.
Just remember… if you read it on the internet, it MUST be true! ;)
